I am from fresh baked cookies,

To hot buttered toast.

I am from Friday night pizza,

And movies on the couch.

I am from metal A frame swing sets,

And soapy slip n slides.

I am from blackberry bushes,

And honey bees buzzing.

I am from riding the lawnmower,

To shooting guns and skipping rocks.

I am from road trips to grandmas,

To summers spent in the cherry tree.

I am from “Come in when the street lights com on”

To “Little girl don't mess with me”

I am from walking to school,

To sports after school

I am from the city,

And what used to be considered the country

I am from “She took your sister and left”

I am from staying up all night,

To sleeping all day

I am from my first job in a pizza parlor,

To my second job at a pizza parlor
