Fitness in my life

For me fitness is so refreshing.
After a heart pounding workout I always feel so good. Feeling the sweat running down my neck makes me feel accomplished. I enjoy the feeling of the burn during my morning workout routine.

I wake up in the morning groggy and put on my work out clothes/ shoes, take a quick sip of coffee yawn a few times and go out to the garage where my fitness equipment awaits me. I "run" on the elliptical for about 20-30 minutes (depending on my mood) every day; while watching a variety of different shows I MUST get caught up on.

As I wake up and my blood gets pumping faster and faster I feel as though I could do this for hours, then I remember I don't have as much time as id like to ahve. I have to start getting ready for work and the day ahead. Once I've finished running I stretch for a few minutes and drink some water.

Then I do a variety of other fitness activates
  • jumping jack's
  • push-ups
  • sit-ups
  • squats
  • jumping rope
These are just them main ones I do all the time. Sometimes I throw some mountain climbers, burpees and various types of lunges in there as well.

Some days I'm not feeling running at all so instead I do a HIIT workout for about 24 minutes or so.
those absolutely take my breath away and I hate to do them, but they make me feel so good afterwards. I love them, we have a love hate relationship the HIIT workout and I.

After my morning workout I relax on the couch for a few minutes and watch some news while I let my heart rate come down, cool off, and drink some more coffee before heading upstairs to get ready for my day.

This is my routine, I love my routine and it works for me. With this routing and a pretty strict diet I have lost 20lbs. I'm still a work in progress; I'm making an effort and that's all that maters to me.

HA! So funny to see this follow Baking post :)
Amazing what you have done, and the weight lost. Really, determination is the key to so much.
Note: "....then I remember I don't have as much time as I'd like" - don't need "to have; that's spoken English
Jumping Jacks - no comma needed.
