1) Camping can be a fun way to spend time with your loved ones outdoor.
Camping usually includes tents, sleeping bags and camp fires. It can also include fishing, hiking and swimming. Another popular activity is making smores. Everyone camps differently, but camping is a fun way to get outdoors.
2) Books are a great escape from reality.
When you read a good book, you can transcend into a whole different world. Sometimes I cannot put a book down and the next thing I know its late and I've almost finished the book. Its bittersweet when you finish a good book.
3) Baking is one of my favorite pastimes.
I love to bake most anything, But cupcakes are my absolute favorite. There's nothing like the satisfaction of that first bite into a freshly completed fluffy chocolate cup cake with peanut butter frosting.
4) For me fitness is so refreshing.
After a heart pounding workout I always feel so good. Feeling the sweat running down my neck makes me feel accomplished. I enjoy the feeling of the burn during my morning workout routine.
5) Technology is an amazing and useful tool.
It is evolving everyday; from computers to cars. We now carry computers in the palm of our hands and some cars cane drive themselves. We can send messages instantly and order anything the mind can think of with just one click of a mouse.
6) Dancing is different all over the world and its fascinating the way the body can move.
There's the good Ol' boot scoot from the southern part of America. to the contagious rhythm of Hip-Hop. We cannot forget the intricate dances: The Waltz and the Polka. And who can forget a classic like the tango.
7) The roaring 20'S - A time I'm completely fascinated with.
Most popular of the 20's is probably the image of the Flapper- which is widely inaccurate. Most thought of a flapper as a girl with bobbed hair and short skirts, smoked, drank, and spoke unladylike. Most women of the 20's donned the attire but did no such things. They listened to the newly bought radios or rode in new inventions that drove down the road. They even voted!
8) Al Capone was a very complicated man.
He was a ruthless gangster yet a loving son, husband, and father. You did not want to cross Al Capone if you were deemed the enemy. He didn't take kindly to betrayal, traitors, or untrustworthiness. He was also considered a gentle giant. Giving money , candy and gifts to the local neighborhood kids. He loved his family dearly and after his father passed away he made sure they were well taken care of.
9) I can appreciate modern fashion and the runway.
I would love to be apart of the crowd sitting on the sidelines as models walk down the runway on a stunning new pair of Louboutin's. I wouldn't mind chatting it up with Heidi Klum or Michael Kors. And I would love to see how modern artists come up with ideas for new clothing, shoes, and accessories.
10) I am a huge fan of Makeup and Beauty products.
I know that may sound shallow, but I love putting on makeup. I love trying new things and the way I feel after mastering a new technique. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying everyone should wear makeup or use beauty products. I just love using new products and the art of what one can do with it. its an art form for me and I love the feeling once I have finished.
